Registry Tweaks – Set Windows 7 to Your Adoptions

  4. Double click the value to Modify
  5. Replace the Value Data, set to ‘1’, with ‘0’
  6. Click OK to Exit

ARTIFICE 3: STACKING

  1. Navigate and Select the Advanced key, via following route
  2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer Advanced

  4. Name this value as ‘LastActiveClick’ with a space
  5. Double click the newly created value to Modify

  1. Navigate and Select the Explorer key, via following route

  3. Go to Edit, choose New, and create a DWORD (32-bit) Value
  4. Name this value as ‘NoLowDiskSpaceChecks’
  5. Double click the newly created value to Modify
  6. Put ‘1’ as Value Data
  7. Click OK to Exit

  3. Locate the value named ‘DisablePagingExecutive’
  4. Double click the value to Modify
  5. Replace the Value Data with ‘1’
  6. Click OK to Exit

ARTIFICE 7: REGISTERED OWNER

This problem is triggered by the owners of a second-hand PC. They wonder to see their own name as Registered Owner. These people are summoned to scribble down the following statements.

  1. Navigate and Select the Current Version key, via following route
  2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version
  3. Locate the value named ‘RegisteredSOwner’
  4. Double click the value to Modify
  5. Replace the name with the one you desire as Value Data
  6. Click OK to Exit

NOTE:

All these tips are subject to modify Windows Registry. Once Modified, Windows Registry is left with some needless files in the database, which causes errors in the registry. You are opined to run a regular scan over the registry, find such errors, and fix them for the inconvenient operations.
